While most people are very comfortable on their first night, others may need a few days to become accustomed to the unique feel of a Restava Mattress.
Proper Foundation
Your new Restava Mattress is designed to work on a flat, solid foundation or adjustable bed base that is capable of supporting your Restava Mattress properly. The use of an inadequate box spring or foundation may void your warranty.
Proper Frame
Always use a strong, stable foundation frame. Our beds are heavier than conventional beds and require a center support rail to provide proper support. Queen and king sizes require center support with legs to comply with warranty. If placing on a slat bed, the slats must be no further than six inches apart, and have a leg going from the center slat to the floor.
Mattress Protector
You just made a great investment, now it's time to protect it. Conventional mattress protectors or mattress covers can affect the pressure relieving experience of our mattresses. Restava Brand Mattress Protectors are designed to work with our mattresses, keeping them clean and not impacting their performance. We strongly recommend the use of one to keep your mattress free of stains.
Rotating Your Mattress
Restava Mattresses are designed as one-sided and cannot be flipped. They also do not require to be rotated. Although not required, we do suggest rotating them once every four months (3 times a year) to allow even "break-in". This is only a suggestion and is left up to you.
Storage
When in transit, or storage, never leave your Restava Mattress on it's side. Always store or transport flat.
